Peanut butter Chocolate Cupcakes and Peanut Balls

My mom got a big bag of peanuts so I wanted to use some of them for baking.  Decorating these cupcakes is fun and easy.

What you need:
12 oreos
1 cup peanuts
Texas sheet cake batter

Frosting:
1 cup peanut butter
2 sticks butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

1)  Chop the peanuts.
2)  Make cupcakes out of the Texas sheet cake batter.  It should make 24 cupcakes.
3)  Make the frosting.  Mix together the butter and peanut butter.  Add the vanilla and one cup of powdered sugar at a time.
4)  As soon as everything is incorporated, then whip the frosting on high for 3 minutes.

 5)  Put the frosting in a piping bag with a big star tip.

6) Frost the cupcakes.  Then, roll the edges of the frosting in the chopped peanuts.

7)  Cut the oreos in half and put one one of the halves on top of the cupcake.

With the extra frosting and chopped peanuts, you can mix them together until the mixture is clumpy and then make peanut balls.  They are so easy and simple and perfect for a party.  Also, you can dust the with a little powdered sugar.
