Perfect Pie Dough

This recipe is from one of my favorite books that my aunt gave me a few years ago. Its Pies and Cobblers and this dough is delicious!

What you need:
2 sicks salted butter, cold and cut into cubes
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp cold water
2 1/2 cups flour

1) Mix the butter and powdered sugar together, about 3 minutes with a mixer or food processor.  Add the egg and water and mix until it's well blended.
 2) Add 1 cup of flour at a time until its all incorporated.  If it doesn't stick together or it's too sticky then add another 1/4 cup of flour.

3) Lightly flour the table and knead the dough for a couple minutes.

4) Wrap the dough with plastic wrap and chill it in the refrigerator until needed.

This can last up to three days
