What you need:
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1) Preheat the oven to 350. Cream the sugars and butter together
2) Add the pumpkin
3) and the vanilla and egg
4) Then add the rest
5) Scoop them onto the tray
6) Bake them for 10-12 minutes
For the frosting, use powder sugar and mix a drop of water in it until its liquidy and add a drop of vanilla.
Drizzle over the cookies and ENJOY!
These are absolutely the best cookies and I don't even like pumpkin pie. Seriously, people. Trust me. Try this recipe and let me know what you think here in the comments section. They are cake-like and when drizzled with frosting just a bit the way Lily does it, are utterly divine. I cannot stop eating them! Take them to parties...they will carry over nicely into the holiday season. They aren't difficult to make, but why should I when I've got Lily here who joyously does all this creative baking for me (and herself, her dad and sibs, and her customers)!
