National Smores Day!

I found out that August 10th is National Smores day!  Here is a delicious recipe for a smores cookie bar (better than real smores).

What you need:
2  hershey bars (4 ounces)
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
11/3 cup flour
3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 teaspoon baking powder
7 1/2 ounces marshmallow fluff


  1. Cream the butter and sugars.  Add the egg and vanilla.
  2. In a seperate bowl mix the flour, crumbs, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
  3. Incorporate the dry to the wet slowly.  
  4. Grease the pan and spread half of the mixture on the bottom.
  5. Put on the chocolate bars and then the whole jar of fluff.
  6. Spread the rest of the dough on the top.
  7. Bake it for 30-35 minutes.
  8. When it's done, do NOT cut it because the fluff and chocolate will go everywhere
