Tea Cakes

I can't find an intro for this except for I needed to use a lot of self-rising flour!

What you need:
2 sticks of butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
4 cups self-rising flour
1 tsp vanilla
Beat the butter and sugar together
 Add the eggs
Add a cup of flour at a time

Once the dough is formed, add the vanilla
Roll on foil into a long strip
Make two because there's a lot
 CHILL OVER NIGHT!
Unroll in the morning and cut slices and inch thick
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes
 Let them cool
I don't know if I made them right because they were extremely hard the next day so I just dipped mine in tea... but it was still good.
Enjoy!!!!
